Part 1 · Weekends: On Saturdays I usually go running with my sister early in the morning, because the park near our flat is quiet then. In the afternoon I try to do something different, for example visiting a museum or meeting friends for lunch. Sundays are calmer: I cook for the week and get my things ready for Monday.
Part 2 · The picture: In this picture there's a family having a picnic in a park. On the left, two children are playing with a ball, and their parents are sitting on a blanket with sandwiches and fruit. It looks like a warm, sunny afternoon, probably at the weekend, and everybody seems relaxed.
Part 2 · Eating outdoors: I think people enjoy it because it feels like a small holiday. You're out of the house, there's fresh air, and the food somehow tastes better. It's also cheap: you only need a blanket and some sandwiches, which makes it a good plan for families with children.
Part 2 · A meal you remember: I remember a dinner on my grandmother's eightieth birthday. The whole family went to her village and we ate outside, under a big tree. The food was simple, but it was the first time in years that we were all together, and that's why it felt special.
- Encadenarlo todo con and y so. Frases sueltas unidas con and y so suenan a lista. Usa because, which, when o that's why para unir ideas.
